[:D]Hi wodering if anyone can help recieved off ebay some 1959 Model Railroader Magazines excellant articles and reviews i must say.My question is there was a list of plans at the time and one of them was for a 4ft square layout for traction models(my favourite),The plan is/was in April 1954 issue,if anyone has a copy i would appreciate it.

Welcome to the board, bigyin. You might be able to get a copy of that article direct from Kalmbach: they will copy articles from pretty much any MR for a nominal fee, and there’s a search engine on this site for tracking such things down. I have seen a couple of traction plans that size (trolleys are well-suited to small layouts!) online–check www.carendt.com and look for trolley/tram plans.
Hi Jetrock,thanks for info will try Kalmbach direct,as for the other www.carendt.com,i already have used the site got book for xmas,aswell as having one of my smaller layouts shown on the pizza layouts.(marc witten from england),look it up on your next visit.
