What is the voltage needed by railroad radios. If its less than the 32 volts produced by steam locomotive turbogenerators how do the operators of steam locomotives hook up modern radios to the unregulated 32volts?
railroad radio’s usually have two inputs, 12 volt and or 72 volt.
there are step up inverters stepping a 32 volt up to 72 volt and stabilizing it.
