Railroads promote grade crossing awareness
I think this is a good idea, but the only place I saw anything about it was from railfan sights. What good is it if the public doesn’t hear a thing about it? There was nothing on the news that I saw.
BUS DRIVERS AND CERTAIN CARGO TRUCK DRIVERS WHO IGNORE RR CROSSING RULES CAN LOOSE THEIR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR SIX MONTHS…WOULD THIS WORK FOR ALL OTHER DRIVERS, AUTO AND TRUCK DRIVERS INCLUDED. NO, BECAUSE STATES WOULD NOT PUT THIS IDEA ON THEIR BOOKS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT. START ISSUEING CITATIONS, SEE HOW TRAIN/CAR COLLISIONS ARE REDUCED.
Better do some raising of the rail thru the crossing shown in the photo.
