I have a Bachmann Car shops building. It is a 3 track structure with grooves in the floor. How do I attatch rails to the floor? or should I just bring rails to the door and not be able to run a switcher through the building?
Thanks!

If it’s the kit I’m thinking of it only has a groove for each rail and no space for ties, correct?
Carefully strip some ties off a length of track, and using CA or your favorite adhesive, glue them in place. It would behoove you to make sure you keep the rails correctly spaced by using a pair of three-point track bars.
Hello V& AL: I have that building as a combination diesel house, car repair shop. The only problem I had, (my lack of fore thought) was I didn’t use lengths of rail to span the whole floor. I had gaps in all 6 rails. I glued them in just like the other poster suggested. I just had to add extra feeders to the rails. Here’s a photo.
Thanks for the info! I now have CA in stock, and the rails are in! (now to clean the gook off the rails so electricity will flow…)
