Hi guys. I’ve been too busy and too far from home. Good to be back at the hobby. Thanks for your help last winter. I’ve got the tracks down and I’m starting to look for specific details. I’m modeling Dalhousie New Brunswick, late 1950 to 1960. Dalhousie is on a dead end branch line but it did have a railway station. This Canadian National station was sold to and made into a restaurant, but a fire destroyed it. I found one picture but need different views and ideally plans. The CN people were at the local museum looking for pictures, It was a unique design. Don;t know how to include photo with this post, yet.
Welcome back![;)]Time constraints such as work and family sometimes make it necessary for model railroading to take a back seat. But, as long as one is moving forward even at a slow pace (with respect to modeling), then it does not really matter.[;)]
I too would like to post some photos of my N&W layout. But, alas, I am not too good with some of this computer stuff. The truth is, I only have one mountain that is worth photographing at this point. I don’t think others would be very interested in benchwork and track.[:$]
Dalrail,
Welcom back, I know I hate to miss even a few days from my layout.
You might try posting this on the ‘Prototype Information’ site; you might get better results.

And, edit the title of the thread to something more specific like including CN in the title or the locale of the station to draw attention to your thread. “Railway Station” is too generic and members may not stop to take a look at the content of your thread.

Have you looked at the July issue of Model Railroader? They have an article with pictures and scale drawings for building a model of a small station on Prince Edward Island. You may find that the Maritime Provinces influence is similar to what you’re looking for.
