I was wondering what the dimensions of the Rapido (“Easy Peasy”) Light board are? I searched the internet and this forum but other then the thickness (1/8") I couldn’t find any other dimensions.

These might be exactly what I’ve been looking for to light my Santa Fe Hi-Levels. The kits and ready to run Hi-Levels (Train Station Products and Intermountain) do not come with any form of truck lighting. And adding this would be problematic and time consuming.

However the roof space is very limited. That’s why I need to know the dimensions of the light board.

But if I can finally and easily get lights in my Hi-Levels it would add so much.

I should mention that the way the cars are made (especially with the interiors) there is next to no room to add capacitor style lighting, which is what I prefer for other cars.

Oh I almost forgot…

Is there any way to tie in other lights to the Rapido board? I have one car with a drumhead and tail light (both using LEDs). These are battery powered with a large double A battery inside. When I add the interior the double A will have to go, but if I add the Rapido board perhaps I could tie the drumhead and tail light into it.

They are 9 3/4 by 1 inch. If that is too long but okay width wise, you can carefully cut a section out of the middle to shorten them and they still work as long as you don’t cut the wiring.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it might work perfectly. The width might be a bit of an issue with the roof curve, but it won’t hurt to try one out.

Length is fine, in fact I wouldn’t mind a bit longer board.

I’m going to try one out and will post the results Hopefully it will work and I can finally light my El Cap.
