Rapido Trains HO lightweight passenger cars
Being from canada, I love the looks of these cars. It reminds me of being down in Port Hope on the main line between Toronto & Montreal and seeing these beautys rolling down the track. It was a sight to see.
Have the available coach and sleeper, waiting for the bar-lounge car and of course the baggage car to complete. Any problems develop, contact Rapido and they will help. Great to have a manufacturer really involved with customer satisfaction.
realy nice cars.a nice addition to my other milw rd. cars.
I have the Rocky Mountaineer cars a they truly are exqusite and very accuratley done.
Great models! I only wish that this kind of quality was available in O scale.
FINALLY someone is doing Milwaukee cars in the 1955+ (UP) scheme. Thank you!
Saw these cars at the National Train Show in Detroit this year. They look great.
Yes, the lite weights are impressive but way out of cost operational range of this senior retiree.
My only regret is that you do not provide B & O roadnames to all cars. The cars look great and track very well
Nov 10, 2007 The new lightweight passenger cars do not list Royal Canadian Pacific as one of the Road Names. Why? I have purchased two other Royal Canadian passenger cars last year and would like to add to my fleet.
Very nice,I like the details, Iwould like to se them run on a layout.
They are beautifully made cars that are making me work on my track to keep the close coupling supplied with the cars. They do not like anything less than 30" radius and have found twists and dips in my track that I did not know I had.
This car is excellent model of the prototype. The only problem is that only one American railroad ran this car. When will Rapido start making models for American railroads? I would like very much to have this brand on my layout.
I have the Cafe-Bar-Lounge, Coach, and Diner and pretty impressed with all three even though the hard-core Mopac guys were able to quickly point out prototype inaccuracies. The units high detail and easy of running put are an improvement to the IHC and Athearn undecs I painted. Can’t wait for the baggage due in the summer. Just glad someone produces the 60’s version (Jenks blue)of the Mopac passenger set. These also match the Walthers Diner I have.
These cars are the best available in RTR. The interiors are well done and impressively painted. The cars operate on 18" radius but do better on 24." Exteriors are the most realistic detailed I have seen and the easily removable roof is a huge plus. If they made 60’ old style combines which would do well for folks with just 18" radius I believe those would be a sellout.
