It seems that the razor-blades used for NWSL Chopper II is the american style. I can’t find them in Sweden. I need 100 of them, can someone please point me to an auction on ebay with the right blades?
I can see different sizes. .009" and .012". What’s the right size?
Those are measurements in thousands of an inch. in other words, The blade for sale is thinner than the standard .012 thousands of an inch. It’s thinner, but will probably become dull quicker.
Not to mention that with the Chopper (I, II, or III), it will probably have more of a tendency to “drift” as it cuts, causing the cut to be angled rather than straight.
The blade provided with the Chopper tools is the sharpest, thinnest blade available - 0.009" - 0.23mm - the thickness used for shaving.
The other commonly found thickness is 0.012" generally sold for hardware purposes such as paint scraping, carpenter knives, etc. which are more prone to cutting at an slight angle.
