Awhile back I decided to go back to the stone age and see what the forum looked like when it was new. I encountered a moniker of ‘Anonymous’ who had posted some topics with some tantalizing titles but when I tried to view them I came up with a ‘topic deleted’ box just as I - and you apparently - are getting with ‘Electroliner’ now. Obviously someone was able to activate it since it is active on the current index.
I couldn’t afford to ride the Electroliners but I usually was there when they came through Waukegan. I did ride the older cheaper coaches to Chicago and Millwaukee several hundred times when I was living there. Does or has anybody ever produced these older coach type motors?
I wonder if the originator of the thread is gone or banned and their post deleted, leaving replies intact. A search works, but direct link to the thread doesnt work. I did a reply thru the search which brought the thread forward, but inaccessible normally.
Walthers made NS cars ending about early 80’s. They came out in various brass forms. Ebay shows them up from time to time and I have acquired a number of NS cars that way.
