REA EXPRESS REEFER DARK GREEN COLOR

I am trying to find a match to the REA Express Reefer Dark Green color. This color is lighter than the pullman green color and also has more of a dark green tint to it. The color charts provided on internet sites are not very helpful. Does anyone know what the color match is for this one??? Thanks

What about Maine Central green? It looks less drab than pullman green.

If memory serves, REA adopted the lighter green sometime in the early sixties, prior to that the color was close to what we call Pullman Green, I model pre REA and use a custom mix to obtain a PFE/SP green as did the prototype.

Author V.S. Roseman wrote a series of articles on modeling the R.E.A. He used “Japanese Navy Green” from Tamaya for the green color when painting the R.E.A. trucks in his articles.

What about Floquil; either Chicago & Northwestern Green or even MKT green?
