A couple of weeks ago I emailed Precision Craft Models asking when was we going to see the Reading T1. To my pleasnt supprise I got an answer that they were in and being shipped out to distributers and should be in hobby shops before christmas,so my question is has, any one seem one yet.?Are they as nice as the photos show it to be,hopely I’ll have the one I ordered before christmas, Internet hobbys said my name was still on the list, but it took them a while to find it so I must be pretty for dowm. hopely some of youall will have one soon and let the rest of us know how nice they look.
My copy should be arriving soon.
I started a thread about this shortly after they announced the shipping of these models.
The President of PCM himself got on that thread and said that they were indeed shipping.
I believe this company to be very similar if not related to, Broadway Limited. I expect good things from this locomotive. Seeing that waiting most of the year and to find out that they are actually shipping slightly past the orginal ETA speaks very highly.
There was one listed on ebay the other day (Mon Dec 12/05) that was mislabelled a 4-8-2 that looked quite nice and the photo appeared to be an original, not a copy of the manufacturer"s photo so someone has them in stock apparently. The listing has been since pulled presumably for correction. The starting price was about $295 U.S. for that particular auction.
I’ll bet MR will be reviewing one in the next month or so. Should be good, can’t wait to see a video of it in action!

I notice tonight that I had been charged for my T1 and since Internet Hobbies doe’s not charge untill they ship, it should be here in a few days., and I will try to put a photo on site.
I recieved word from my LHS that the engine will arrive Monday or Tuesday.
If my luck holds out I might even get a low serial number. It happened on my P2K 2-8-8-2 Y3 QSI (That serial number was exactly 50 out of however many they produced)
