Ready-To-Run layout from the 60's.

My son ask me if a person could buy a layout that was ready to go in the old
days. I thought about the times as a kid looking at the Christmas wish book from Sears or Wards. And thinking how cool it would be to get one of those
Tyco or Life-Like layouts. Has any one ever recieved one for Christmas?

Do some looking around on eBay, there are losts of things there and it changes every day. There are some layouts and train sets from the 70’s I know. Joey
