I believe the East Broadtop has one that’s still in use.

IRM’s got one that USED to run, but they’ve been working on it for the past few years.
Cass has a doodlebug that they use during the week.
Both the EBT and Strasburg have operable doodlebugs.
And don’t forget the Galloping Geese, which are “sorta” doodles!
Do a Google search for “diesel light rail vehicle”–many cities who don’t want to string catenary or trolley wire are exploring using diesel-electric self-powered passenger vehicles–in other words, doodlebugs–for passenger transit!
Of course, calling a shiny new vehicle a “doodlebug” is as bad as calling one a “trolley”, so they are called “Light Rail Vehicles” of one sort or another…
