The location in that video is not in Bangkok. It is a market in Samut Sakorn province. BTW, SRT has many close clearance spot like Makkasan-Mae nam freight spur and southern side of Chitlada wye.

Reminds me of my time in Thailand, out Udorn way. We’d see that style of train daily. Most were of older style of equipment. Ran about 300 yards from the Ramasun fence line. Had a mean scare there one day as we intercepted a radio transmission coming from that area of track, we thought it was a “sapper” attack and went on Red Alert. Turns out it was just some LN’s with a stolen transmitter that were herding the buffalo that they used. Boy does that start the memories running. Thanks for posting that video.
