How the heck can one make an elevated track roadbed? Does any vendor out there make an HO elevated concrete like the one found at the Woodbridge train station NJ? Where can I find HO steel elevated structure like the ones in urban areas: i.e Rahway train station NJ, IRT West Harlem 125th st, and East Harlem Metro North’s 125th st?
I’m an old “Jersey Boy”. Not sure about concrete versions but would the Micro Engineering “City Viaduct” kits do for box girder steel els? They resemble the 3rd Ave. El in N.Y.C. and the Chicago El. A string of Walther’s Cornerstone Art Deco double tracked over passes might be good kit bashing material. (From long ago (dim) memories they remind me of the E. Orange, N.J. Rail/Hwy overpasses downtown. Others might have better suggestions but these came to mind as I have them, still to be built. There is a wood craftsman kit version that has an advertising banner on this forum. Hope that’s maybe/somewhat helpful to you.
Laser Art is the company’s name. (Had to go look). Beautiful Chicago El structures. (Smartt) Getting a N.J. prototype might entail some kit bashing or scratch building. Let us know what you find or decide upon? I love Els. Cheers.
