Recently did a lake using ralistic water. Looked great at first but after about 10 days it turned milky. Any comments on why? What might I do to make the milky look go away?
That isn’t supposed to happen and I cannot tell you why it did.
Let’s see if anyone knows of any way to make the milky look go away, short of doing it all over.

Excessively high humidity during curing time can cause that. Trapped water vapor. Try very gently heating a small area with a hair dryer to see if it will go away.
It seems to me that some time back I saw a post mentioning that pouring the water should be the last major scenic work you should do in an area. It mentioned that sometimes the scenic cement (don’t think it specified type) could seep under the water and make it look cloudy. I had finished most of my ground cover work in the area, but had added clump type foliage (full strength white glue) with no problems. My impression was that it was the general wetting seeping in, rather than small amounts of glue.
If you did some major scenic work after pouring the water, I suppose it could be the problem. Since I have never experienced it, can’t add more than that.
Good luck,
Richard
