I haven’t been on the forums here for a few days, so I don’t know if this topic has come up. With all the flooding recently that hit Calgary and High River among other places, I was wondering what other places were hit hard and had train service disrupted. A rail bridge was washed out somewhere between Cranbrook and Alberta that kept trains tied up along this line.
Here is a link to the latest CPR release on flood damage so far:

The big problem areas were/are; the mainline around Canmore, due to erosion; the southern mainline at Blairmore, due to a bridge washout: and on the Calgary/Lethbridge line at Okotoks, due to erosion. There were forty flood damaged locations in all. There was enough distance between the initial flood damage locations and Medicine Hat, that the South Saskatchewan River rose to near record levels slowly enough that significant damage to the company’s operations did not occur.
