I didn’t write anything down, committed it all to short term…what do you call it…ohh yeah short term memory…what were we talking about again?
I am the 100th post on here! YAY! Yesterday I saw a BNSF GP60M and SD60M in H2, a BN SD40-2 with no BNSF markings, a Conrail SD40, a UP GEVO C45ACCTe, FURC and HLCX lease units, and Oakway SD60’s.
I AM THE 100TH POST! ALL HAIL ME! CALL ME YOUR DARK GOD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Saw more UP power on CSX in Pittsburgh. An eastbound coal drag had a pair of UP widecabs (couldn’t tell exactly what they were) on the point.

Well, early this morning I got my pics and computer disk from Walgreens. I thought I only got one shot of the 3985 under way but found 2 shots in the developed pics. The only problem is they forgot to put the pics onto the disk so I have to make another trip there and ask them is they know what they are doing? I am beginning to wonder if they do. Some of you might remember that late last year they sent my pics home with someone else. It took about 1 1/2 weeks to finally get my pics, and if the person who got them would not have returned them–I never would. I am convinced that the computer virus I had (causing me to have to reformat my hard drive and loose everything on it) also came from there. Just after I loaded their pic disk did my trouble start. Needless to say, I am not too happy with them right now. [:(!]
When they finally get their act in order and get me my disk then I can email them out to the people on my addy. If you are not on my addy list and want to be just email me and I will be glad to add you. [;)]
Patiently waiting for my disk with pics N O T. [:(!]
Oh I forgot to add…
on day one of the trip I also saw a semi trailer loaded with new signal heads headed west and on day six I saw another semi trailer loaded with freight truck castings…side frames and bolsters…no wheels or springs.
Ok, I have the 3985 pics back now and on computer disk. [^]
They are ok pics, not the best, not the worst. [:p]
I have emailed them to the people on my addy list.
If you would like to have them just email me and I will be glad to share them with you.
I guess no one has been seeing anything for the last few days. [V]
Hopefully today and tomorrow we can all railfan some and tell what we saw. [:)]
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait. [:p] [}:)] [;)]
I SAW THE AMERICAN OREINT EXPRESS IN SEATTLE THIS SUMMER THAT WAS COOL
Some years ago they came through Little Rock on the way to Branson, Missouri. The old White River line is an ex MO Pac (UP) rail line that runs from around Newport, Arkansas through Branson and on to Kansas City. The UP sold that line to a railroad called Missouri and North Arkansas (I think that was the name). I am not sure if the M & NA still own it or not. I railfanned it late this last summer and saw UP engines on that line. I am not sure of the current status of it or what is going on with it. This is the line that the tourist railroad Branson Scenic uses also.
The AOE became stuck behind a derailed emply coal train and they had to bus the passengers to Branson. I believe this was a Dallas to Branson round trip. They did stop in Little Rock and I went down to see it. This was before I began taking pics of the trains. Well one of these days I might get another chance to see it and I will take pics of it then.
Yesterday I saw an HLCX MPI painted SD40M-2 a UP SD40-2 and a UP flag SD70M.
Lots of trains but something i dont want to see again!
little kids not in their carseats.I know grandma and grandpa want to show the kids the trains but the kids need to be in the carseats if they are driving around town.

OK, I don’t know who did it, well yes I really do–God. We now have about 3 inches of snow on top of some ice/sleet. As it was starting I was making a desperate run for dog food. I saw a 4 unit lash up of UP engines. The first 3 were GEs and the fourth was an EMD. I got the number of the last engine, I couldn’t get close enought to get the other numbers because of the weather and I was getting ready to turn. I made a mental note of the engine number. I somewhere lost the mental note. Problem with mental notes is they can be hard to find. I want to say it was 7129 but don’t hold me to it. [B)]
LAST WEEK i got some pics of a PRR GG1 and UP 4018 Big boy at the age of

2 GP-15’s on the NEC running backwards. 1 NS and 1 Conrail. They were pulling up to the Wilmington Amtrak Station and headed north. A Speta Commuter and an Amtrak AEM-7 train passed them by - heading south.
Well about a month ago i saw UP 3300 “United Way” First time i ever saw it, so i chased it from West Chicago to Rochelle. Pulled in to the RR park 10 minutes before the train. Lucky for me it was held just east of town. Really cold day but it was worth it.
A SP & CNW AC4400CW in their original paint.
I saw something kinda funny yesterday, the yard crew over in the valley in Milwaukee was kicking around with a CP Dash-9 and a CSX in the Stealth paint. These two units have been complimenting the usual line of Bandit painted ex-Milwaukee Road switchers. One of the old bandits was actually double-banded with the SOO over the old Milwuakee angle box and a CP and number painted over the SOO
