Recommended brand/model of Air bru***o buy

Got a Badger Model 155 for Christmas. After using a Testors air brush for a year this is like driving a Roll Rice. The Testors work fine for about a Six months then started leaking an clogging up. The Badger comes with 6ft air line, three bottles, one crome cup. It is a doubel action brush witch is really nice an vary easy to clean. Sprays enamel or acrlyc with ease. Sprays about 1/8th of an inch to about 2in width. Found it on the Internet for $80.oo. Also i use a 10 ga portable air tank an fill it with the compressor in the garage. I fill it to about 100lb pressure an regulate it with a second valve to about 40 to 50 lbs. With a portable tank you get much better air regulation… Dudrul.

Walthers has a Badger “Model 350 Deluxe Set” on sale for $69.98. Includes “3 tips & needles, attaches 3/4 oz jar, 2 oz jar with cover, plus 8’ braided air hose and 1/4” pipe thread fitting (converts airbrush for use with compressor or CO2 tank)" Appears to also have paint cup and wrench.

Am searching for 1st-time airbrush and would appreciate comments on this set.

I use a Badger Anthem Dual-Action 155 Airbrush.

Works great…Highly recomended.

I also recommend the Badger line. Purchase the model you can afford. A good idea is to have an extra set of O rings and seals on hand.

Anybody familiar with airbrushcity.com? They have some pretty good prices but I have never heard of them so I don’t know about the quality?? I’ve been considering getting of theirs but would like to know more about them…maybe I’ll just get a Badger.

and wow they work great

I’ve had good luck with Badger and Pasche. Only advice I’d give is to not be afraid to try a double-action airbrush. They are really no more trouble to clean, and you have better control of paint flow. And a good comressor makes life much easier. I started out with a Badger Whirlwind compressor. It was hot, noisy, vibrated all over the bench, and get this–it “threw a rod” in the middle of painting my first brass diesel! A quick trip to the LHS, and I finished it with a can of Propel. Having a good compressor, tank and trap will really help make painting a breeze.

I have a Badger 200 need a few parts haven’t got the chance to use it yet ,but will be as soon as one part that’s on order comes in.

I’m looking for a first airbruoo, but i’m not going to spend over $60. It seems Badger has been recomended quite a bit. Comments on this please http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/bad/bad200-1.htm special note: I want an airbruhat will run off my air compressor out in the garage.
