Before selling or discarding your dcc equiptment. Ask yourself can it be used in other ways.
I use my old Salota system to control a scene where I had used small motors for animation.
I use my old Hornby Zero-1 to contol my monorail.
I even have an Astrac system just to brag that I have the first comman control system, the Salota is just and upgraded version of Astrac.
Just keep in mind that by using an older or less advanced system you can control things from a distant location with just 2 wires.
