I am using it ever since I visited Howard’s layout.
While it does take some getting used to it seems to be a lot quicker than doing foam (which you have to wait for the glue to dry) or plaster (waiting for the plaster to dry), which I am using both!
I am also trying to use the red paper to represent rocks. I am modeling a coal strip cut and the large area of the cut is nothing but rock cliffs. I wrinkled up the red paper and then glued it to a chicken wire frame.
I then paint the paper a flat gray to represent the slate rock. I now have to go back and do the weathering of the gray paint to bring out the detail of the rock. I may have to add some rock castings yet but the initial work using the wrinkled paper to represent the rock cliffs is giving the look I was after.

Thank you Bob. I am going to use it as in the Article he wrote.
Craboard Frame glue with hot glue. Hot glue the Red paper to the Fram work. Paint the whole thing with full strength E,mers White glue. THis is supposed to yield a ahrd shell that all you do is to rewet it and stick on your covering of shrubs etc. He mounted his clump shrubs on a backing then cut them to get the field or arrangement he wanted.
I have over 1600Sq ft to do so I hope this works. We will try it up on the mountain that will hide the down grade in the back of the layout.
