I’m assembling a Bluebox reefer - query - any suggestions how to install the small latch (or whatever) that holds the vent door open. There must be an easier way than just trying to force it (with a good chance of breakage). Thanks for your help.
yeah, they are a pain. i just whittle out hinge hole a bit with a number 11 blade and shave the flash off the pin on the latching bar.

p.s. a bit of judicious scraping and filing helps the top and ends to fit the body better too.
I feed them through from the inside of the car, before I assembe the rest of the car.
And some of them end up getting lost on the floor, so I don’t have to worry about them at all. [banghead]
easy solution glue them shut or loose em because eventually you will., ask me how I know this
