regarding the soon to be updated Trains.com website

great , new stuff coming , that’s good to hear

just one question though

Bergie wrote

is the reference to Firefox 2.0 just a typo ? because the link goes to 3.x which of course is the latest version

ernie

The link just goes to the firefox website, not to a specific download for FF3.

Will this make links automatically hyperlink again?

Any possibility of making each individual post printable without having to print the whole catagory or page or column? Thanks.

How do you tell what Explorer you have? I think I did up grade to the 7.0 and could not post pictures, with 7.0 will I be able to use my photo bucket account?

Computer worried Ken again.

IE Explorer is like the absolutely worst browser, get Mozilla Firefox and have at it. Having said this, I use Yahoo which auto updates for me anyhoo and am behind a router plus a firewall with advertising blocked. So I dont expect any issues.

  1. To see which version of your web browser you are running: Help | About

  2. Don’t worry about upgrading your browser version unless you actually get trouble with the new web page.

  3. If you should get trouble with the new trains.com web site (pretty unlikely, but possible), Kalmbach recommends that you try upgrading your web browser before you complain to Kalmbach that the trains.com web site is broken.

As with all recommendations - up to you whether you take the advice or not.

  1. You can post pictures just fine with IE7 or FF3. Or with IE6 or FF2.

In short : don’t worry too much in advance. Wait until the 15th, verify that things still seems to be working okay and then just go on like normal.
