Remembering Boston's Charlestown Elevated

Some photos from the last day of operation, before the line was located to be adjacent to the B&M RoW with a new underground North Station subway station.

Sullivan Square looking east from the bus (formerly streetcar) turn-around on the upper level, with tracks from the Fellesway - Elm Street line still in place some ten years after bustitution.

Inside Sullivan Square Station, under essentially a classic train shed. But the platfrom for downtown trains was outside the train shed on the south side.
