Remote Switch Controller

I just received a pair of remote switches # 5122. The controllers are #5122-201. They are plastic and made in Hong Kong for Lionel.

Does anyone know if these are supposed to have a bulb(s) to inidicate red/green? If so, what is the bulb #, how do bulbs install, are parts missing?

Thanks,

Charlie

5122 O-27 switch controller covers are blank and they do not use light indicators. Looks like someone bored your controller and added lenses or swapped a controller from an O gauge switch. That would be unusual because O gauge controllers with lenses are typically black. If you want to light the controller, you would need to add something like an Atlas snap relay to operate the lamps because O-27 switches do not have built indicator lamp contacts.

Thanks, John. I didn’t see how lights could go in there. That’s why I thought something might be missing. The only thing that looked like it would work was to pressure fit bulbs on the white disks and up into the lenses but seems like there is no way to swtich them.

Don’t really need lights; both will go in with non-derailing wiring.
