I’m squinting to repaint an Atlas N scale caboose in more realistic colors, and didn’t notice some acrylic paint that I got on the small clear plastic windows.
What’s the best way to remove, cover, or hide paint stains on the clear plastic windows?
Would a liquid masking product be my best bet for the tiny windows in the future?
Thanks!

You should be able to remove it with tooth paste. If it is really thick, scrap most of it off withh a razor blade then put some tooth paste ( Crest works well ) on a soft damp rag and rub until it’s off. The tooth paste will poli***he the plastic and not leave any scratches.
It’s funny, we often talk on this forum about using toothpaste (Pearl Drops) to poli***he gears inside of Athearn trucks. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it suggested to polish clear plastic.
