A bird left purple droppings on the light gray roof of my wooden electric freight motor. Does anyone out there have a sure-fire method for removing the stuff? Any help would certainly be appreciated.

try a soft tooth brush and mild dish washing soap . BEN
I’ve found that a pinch of vinegar in some salt water works well. Purple, huh? How kind of the bird to colorize your world. Bet HO scale modelers don’t have that problem[(-D]
You know…it’s funny that we want 1:1 bird poop off…but some of us might model some bird poop in large scale. LOL
Yup, the pokeweed berries ripen up this time of year -

could be mulberries, too -

or even blackberries. They grow wild all over these parts. -

It’s poke weed. I have a small area of my yard that I’m too lazy to landscape so I abandoned it and deemed it “habitat”. Poke weed thrives there along with golden rod, milk weed and all the other stuff that makes this area so miserable for folks with alergies.
