Hello All
I have existing woodland scenics fine turf that I would like to remove to make room for static grass. I used scenic cement (diluted white glue) to secure it. What is the best way to remove it? I was debating wetting it to try to loosen the glue.
Thanks
Gosh, why remove it?
I’ve applied static grass right over the top.
Thanks for the replies. I’ll try both things out. I’ll try going over it and if that doesn’t look right I’ll start scraping.
One of the complaints I often hear concerning static grass is that if one uses one length of static grass then you get to much of a “manicured” look.
By retaining the ground foam, you’ll at least give the surface a little more “texture”, thereby causing the static grass to vary a little more in height.
Thanks Good point
After experimenting some I found that wetting the ground cover it does loosen up the plaster cloth underneath and scrapes off. I only did a test section. Next is to try the static grass over the foam as suggested.
