Just looked at their website. Looks like a great way to cross the Rockies - can’t wait to try it!
This’s fantastic. The leased equipment will be better than the standard Amtrak consist which only uses a single dome.
Good news! This is a great way to go to Reno when I 80 is shut down or slowed to a crawl by Sierra Nevada snowstorms. I hope to be aboard the March 8 departure for my 75th birthday!
PS- Someone should tell Mr.Payton that he can"t cross the Rockies on the Reno Fun Train.
Perhaps they could substitute the whole train with private varnish, a nicer way to travel.
