Maybe someone out there could help me. I need to know the current UP numbers for these ex- SP numbers 8035, 4214,8123,7774, and 9134(Cotton Belt). Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
SP 9134 (SD45) was off the roster by August 1990, so it did not come close to being renumbered.
While SSW 7774 (B30-7) may have been renumbered, it seems like I heard UP was getting rid of these. It would have probably been UP 7774.
There was no SP or SSW 4214 on the August 1990 roster, so it did not come close to being renumbered. My August 1990 roster skips from SSW 4203 (GP35R) to SP 4301 (SD9R).
As for SP 8035 and SP 8123, it seems like the Utah Depot website has that type of information on it, but I get an error message when I try to go there.

It was probably late 1998 or early 1999.
That does not seem likely.
UP 8035 - it seems like this is an SD90MAC, it would have never been SP or SSW
UP 4214 - SD70M, it would have never been SP or SSW
UP 8123
UP 7774 - it seems like many of the SP/SSW B30-7s were given UP reporting marks and kept their SP/SSW numbers, so that may have been possible.
UP 9134 - 8-40C, it would have never been SP or SSW.
I have edited my first post to include locomotive type. Do the types look like what you remember?
