Any suggestions on repairing the MTH radar tower? It has stopped rotating. I tried lubing the rubber washer with graphite, but to no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I do not have that item but is it a vibrating motor type? If it is, are the fingers on the rubber drive washer all the same length and not broken off? Is the motor vibrating?

If this is a LIONEL copy (and it sure looks like it), then the “motor” can be tricky to fine tune. Took me days of fiddlin’. Test the continuity, be sure the metal washer and rubber washer are seated correctly. It might take a little extra weight on the antenna (I used a nickel) to spin the radar piece.
