I have a number of these without the red lights – suggestions on what I can use to replace what apparently is missing. I am using them both on my DC layout and DCC layout.

At one time Atlas did sell them with a red bulb. Current production has no bulb. The problem is that the bulb was ‘dim’ or off when a DC throttle was at idle, then blazing red when the throttle was full speed. On DCC you can use a 16v bulb as the track voltage is constant - just make sure that the plastic bumber does not melt rom the heat! Hooking up the bulb can be done by soldering the leads to the track.
