I have a HO Jouef SNCF TGV. What would be a good replacement frame chasis mounted can motor that can achieve scale speed of over 150mph? The Jouef locomotive only has one powered bogie on one locomotive. Horrible! Will this do as a replacement bogie:

I have a similar problem with the Athearn P42, which only gets up to about 75MPH. I have contacted NWSL as they are a great supplier of motors. He may be getting one in that turns lots of RPMs. I am in the process of testing with tachometers this week some other motors.
At this point NWSL is the most likely supplier of motors which may help you. They also have very good trucks, but I am not sure of how they would represent your prototype. I also buy/use Athearn trucks and add sideframes separately to match a prototype when building a loco.
