Replacement trucks for Bachmann N-scale?

I finally got trains running on my track and I’m having trouble with one of my locos going through turnouts. I have a Spectrum GE DASH 8-40CW that can’t seem to make it through a turnout with one truck going one way and the other going another. I think I remember someone talking about replacing the wheels or trucks last year.

Is there a replacement trucks to fit N-scale Bachmann Locos?

Or do you think its somethink I can fix?

I suspect the gauge of the wheels. Give them a look over with an NMRA gauge.

Yes, you should replace them with Atlas trucks, oh, and the rest of the Atlas diesel, too![swg]

But seriously, folks… If you don’t have a wheel gauge, you should get one. Having the wheels in gauge will solve a lot of your problems.

I had the same problem with a con cor engine and changed the switch and fixed the problem
