I remember this branch from our railfanning days on our way to or from B&Ms East Deerfield yard . A few times we saw a switcher moving cars to or from a mill complex can’t recall if they had a caboose. Part of the route ran through a golf course. It is my understanding that it is what was left of a former New Haven line.that the B&M took over after NH cutbacks.
