Big well attended show well worth your time and money. Ist before it got hot I went to Fairplex Garden Railroad, a 300’ x 100’ permiinate G outdoor railroad. Has been at the fairplex since 1935 and was in another location starting in 1924. A lot of track, real water, well maintained, electric not batterys. Conventual control, all volunteers. They have track cleaners on poles, then two track cleaners cars are run when they start operating. Roadbed is cement about 8" wide for single track.
Big hall, a lot of table sales. All scales with a lot of 3 rail. Many large modular layouts including Z scale had a big pike. I’ve been out of the hobby awhile and had never seen Z before. Tinplate Trackers weren’t there and 3 rail didn’t have a big layout. They did have several small portable layouts. I enjoyed the HO, N, and Z and everything.
