Repowering a Mantua 4-6-4

I have a Mantua Hudson that, while it works, could do with a new motor (i think… maybe it just needs to be run a bit longer to loosen up more). anyway, ignoring the possiblility of it loosening up, what company/companies make replacement motors for this locomotive?

Helix Humper. http://www.alliancelink.com/alp/ Part #162.

Yardbird has a repowering kit and also handles Helix Humper.

Thanks [:)]

Looks like I’m going to have to mail-order those… none of the LHS’s here appear to be a dealer/supplier for either company. Oh well… I’ll just have to see if the loco improves in the next few days before making a decision…

edit:

OK… so maybe the “wait-and-see” bit was shorter than anticipated… the motor itself just up and stopped running forward[:(!]… but it still runs fine in reverse, and there’s no binding in any of the siderods/eccentrics/whatever [#dots]
