Represent your.....subdivisions!

Ok, so what are the subdivisions you’re the closest to?

In my case, it’s CN’s Deux-Montagnes sub and CP’s Westmount sub.

~Ra’akone

BNSF Madill Sub and KCS Alliance.

Housatonic Railroad – it’s too small to have a sub!

How can I tell what subdivisions I am near? I’ve been wondering that for a while & this seems a perfect place to ask. I live a little north of NS’s Conway yard, and a little south of the CSX New Castle yard…

Hey you railroaders out there. One of you needs to offer Nora a timetable for your railroad. Are they on the internet now?

Looking out the window of my apartment I can see CP’s Chicago-Milwaukee line about a block away. UP’s Harvard Sub is around the corner. CP’s Elgin sub a few miles south. Here in Chicago you’re never too far from any sub.

I dont know what the subdivsion of the mainline that goes by my town… however I will say that the Western Maryland’s Eastern Subdivision along with the B and O’s Old Main Line was my territory as a child.

I live at Milepost 1.59 on the Two Rivers Sub in Manitowoc, WI. The house is only 40 feet at most from the rail…unfortunetly, they stopped using the line about 8 months ago. Well, at least I got 10 or so years of it passing and we still have the Manitowoc Sub in town which sees a Sunday - Friday train from Neenah, WI.

I live about 1.5 miles from the Chicago to Aurora triple track mainline, which would be the Aurora subdivision of the Chicago Division of BNSF.

CSX Fairmont Subdivision

Jim Tiroch…Burlington Northern Santa Fe Hannible Sub…AKA K-line, and Norfolk Southern Wentzville sub

UPRR: Colorado Springs, Salina(KP), Bond, Ft. Collins, Greeley Subs, NWT (Denver East Belt)
Denver & Rock Island Terminal Stockyards Branch
RTD: Whatever They Call It This Week Sub.

Closest to MP 7.0 UP/BNSF/RTD Joint Line on the BNSF/RTD Colorado Springs Sub. side, 3.2 miles east

Closest official subdivision is CN Bedford Sub outside Halifax, Nova Scotia. The local road is the WHRC, they are a shortline and don’t really have subdivisions, although I have heard the line from Windsor to WIndsor Junction referred to as the WHRC Halifax sub.
