I’ve never run water based paint in mine, but I usually thin Floquil about 2 to 1 paint to thinner and then use about 10 psi. I crank it up to clean it, but paint at lower pressure.

Why add this post if it’s not relavant to the op’s question?

For acrylic paints the psi should be between 15 and 25. Thin the paint with water to the consistency of 2% milk. Spray several light coats.

I made my post because it is relevant to the heading of the thread and these conversations are read by many people besides the original poster. It didn’t take up much more space that your admonishment (which served no useful purpose and is completely irrelivant to the thread).
