My husbands grandfather worked on the railroad from 1941-1977. From what I know he started out w/ New York Central then to Penn Central and ended w/ Conrail. He was on the route from Avon, In to Mattoon, IL. I am trying to find out the names or #s of the trains he would have been on and any other info. I have just started researching, so any history you may know would be greatly appreciated
