Restoring HO Bachmann EMD GP40-2s

So I recently got 2 ‘slightly’ damaged Bachmann HO-Scale EMD GP40-2s at an auction with a few other things the Black one has no handrails the SOO Line one just needs touch ups on the body

Whoever owned these prior to me getting these did a number on the CP Rail Boxcar and the what seems to be an ‘Ex. BNSF GP40-2R’ due to the orange on the inside of the unit and the unit has no number boards

Hi there. I’ll try to get the ball rolling.

The Soo loco can be improved by bending the handrails back into their original shape. Gently, by hand. It has somewhat of an acceptable weathered look. If the handrail is broken, you can use JBWeld to glue it back together.
