I need some suggestions for retaining walls. What materials, how to do it… etc.

Just a thought, My brother -in-law is putting in a pool and around it he’s building a retaining wall. He’s using building block from Lowe’s. it looks like a triangle with the ends cut off and it has a lip on the bottom to catch the row below. the block is about 1ft. wide in the front and tapers back, and is about 6 inches high. He’s going 3 high for about 50 feet. And is using a base of concrete poured out of the bag and sprinkled with a hose. Hope this helps., Don

It’s just a three sided box made from Jigstones. I built the box and backed it with Quickrete and wire mesh and waterproofed it. To mount the bridge I buried the bottom part and filled the upper part with gravel so the wooded bridge supports have plenty of drainage. It took awhile - lots of little stones to paint.
