How would I wire up a reverse loop using a AF 720A switch?

2-rail layouts have a hard time with reverse loops. You have to reverse the polarity of an insulated section of track with a DPDT switch. Here is a link I found to American Flyers own instructions that explain reverse loops. http://www.thortrains.net/flyermanual.pdf
