Between the article and the video, I want one.
A beautiful locomotive but a little beyond the range of my limited budget.
It is indeed a beautiful locomotive, but as Lloyd said, it is beyond my means too – I mean I spent just a little more than this on all of my used engines and a couple of new ones. For someone on a budget, it is a bit steep. And it would require more space than I’ve got… But you can dream!
I am the happy owner of one of 3rd Rail’s K’s and I agree with your assesment of it’s appearance and performance. One caution however, the chunk coal you refer to in the tender is real coal so one must be very carefull when handling the tender as the coal is very fragile. I do love that whistle.
Whoever sets up the newsletter needs a few lessons. I clicked on the arrow for “new video” and all I got was this long article to read. I can read a magazine. Thanks anyway. Better luck next time…maybe.
