RFD-TV "Trains" Schedule

Mondays & Tuesdays appear to be RR days on RFD-TV, with the online program guide listing “Trains and Locomotives” twice each day. Times vary with your time zone.

Their website:

www.rfd-tv.com

has an adjustment for that and gives me my schedule per Pacific Time. I then check it out on my DirecTV (Channel 379) schedule to confirm the time. I usually set my cell phone’s alarm feature to remind my deteriorating brain to go watch the show.

For anyone with a C-Band dish RFD is available for free on G13 / Tr#24. It’s digital so you will need a 4dtv receiver or equivilant.

[banghead] Dang I have Comcast but, I wish I had Direct TV for the NHL package ESPN did not show that many last year and a couple of the games had EX Augusta Lynx goaltender Zac Bierk playing for the Phoenix Coyotes

I have Dish and het it on channel 9409 I dont have any of those fancy channels cause i only care about 1 football team and only one, the Denver Broncos, as long as i see that game I am happy. I also enjoy watching the horse training show and the classic tractors shows on RFD-TV as well.

You are very correct to say check times, but they have the ‘trains’
programs on more the just Mon. Tues.
I’m sitting here looking at a schedule CW & I printed out.
Looks like the only day they don’t have at least one train
‘show’ is Thursday.
(DISH Network)

Let’s not forget to watch TRACKSIDE tonight at 7 p.m.
EDT on RFD-TV.

The show listed “Trains and Locomotives” is actully the series “Machines of Iron.” It is a great series about prototype trains with a heavy emphasis on steam. It comes on RFDTV at the follow times that I know of (and probably a couple more):
Monday 5:00 p.m. (central time), 11:00 p.m., Tuesday 5:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. I usually catch the first showing and if it is really good I tape one of the others. It is a real “don’t miss.”
