Nicely done. A little green ground foam on that surplus latex caulk would looke look like “seaweed” once the water is poured – pilings of that sort always have a beard of seaweed at their bases.
David, I like your suggestion of adding “seaweed” around the pillings.
Why not put a little super glue on the pliers instead of caulk.
Great idea using the sliced off Atlas bridge girders.
Nice. By the way - in regards to sanding the pilings or other cast resin details, in the military hobby we use a LOT of resin parts and have been cautioned for years that resin dust from sanding can be a respiratory irritant to many of us. Use care in the sanding and use a vacuum to clean up all the dust, and maybe a damp rag after that. Just a health warning from an old guy with asthma.
A very nicely done video. I liked the circular sanding motion, I would have just gone back and forth, but the circular motion appears best as it makes for a more level surface.
David, that was great! But, I DO want to see you airbrush the parts! What paint you use… how you do it!
Very nice video. Can’t wait to see how you contain the “water”.
Great videos, but if no one had suggested it, you need mooring lines from your barge and car float to the docks. Keep up the great work
