Does anyone have any experience using the End of Train Devise by Ring Engineering?
I have 3 of them - pretty fool-proof. They seem to handle power outages quite well. I have noticed that they continue flashing for a few seconds after the DCC power it turned off on the layout.

Yes, works very nicely. I bought one and installed it on a boxcar.
Very complicated thought. Put the truck on the car. Put the car on the track. EOT lights up when the DCC system is powered up.

Me too! [:D] Pretty easy install.
Pretty expensive, though looks prototypical. I was thinking about using (larger) flashing LEDs with one of the Athearn blue box trucks that have wheel pickup for lighting.
I’ve got several. Pretty cool. looks like the real thing. Same rate of flash, etc.
