Amtrak is appalling. I can’t wait for it to die.
I don’t think it is appalling. I remember the stale cheese sandwiches served the one time I rode the Penn Central Detroit-Chicago trains and the condition of the rest room I tired to use. Sure the Supewr Chief wasn’t the same when it became the Soutwest Chief but there were many places where there was improvement.
Like I said once and ill say it again. Amtrak is DEAD as long as Bush is in office.
