RIP--a Final Pictorial

Long Live the Rock Ridge and Train City I

Out Danged EZ Track (If I would have done this before scenery, I might still be working on this layout.)

I guess I’m now committed to the Rock Ridge and Train City II.

It’s OK Chip…we all go through it. I’m on my second layout by the same name. It gives you as chance to fix all the mistakes you made with the first layout. This time you get to make a whole new set of mistakes! [:D]

I thought that in the US “RIP” meant “Repair In Place”? [swg]

That’s what’ve been doing for the last two years. I’m sick up and fed.

Go for the “grade Seperation” and have fun [:P]

What are you using next? Peco US for its durability?

[8D]

Are you trying to make us all feel old? It seems like yesterday that you started Rock City. It is amazing how time flies. I still think that I have been in the hobby for only 3 or 4 years. But my MRR mags going back to 1999!

Just a thought… Cemtex or C4 can give your work a whole “new lift”… [swg]

How did the families take it, and; what type of arrangements were made for all of those dearly departed in the church cemetery?

I like the wooden Brio set you have under your old layout. I hope you didnt get rid of that.

I’m not sure why, but all you pictures seem to have a “pink” hue to them.

It’s time for a change anway. You’ve moved beyond the small 4X8 layout crammed with track. Now its time for some true prototypical operating. I hope your supervisor has allowed you ample space[:)]

Boohoo! So sad![:(]

The trees on the layout-what are they made of?

They look like sedum, what I use.

Tyler

Springfield Central Railroad

Route of Pittsfield Pass

I’ve just about determined that the pink is from the full-spectrum floods above the layout.

Ty,

They are mostly sedium.
