Rivarossi Loco

I have a Rivarossi Electric Locomotive that I inherited from my Father-in-law and I cannot find any information about it anywhere… It is a #4929 PRR 2-C-C-2 G.G.I (Green). I’m curious as to whether it’s just a run of the mill item or if it may be something a little special. I’m hoping one of you guys might know about it. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Nothing special. Just a standard single motored engine with oversize flanges good for code 100 track only.

Here’s a link to the **"HOSeeker" **site which is a goldmine of information.

If you look 5 th down on the left hand column you will find this and more.

Cheers, the Bear.

Not everything which happens to be a few decades old, is automatically a collector´s item with a high value to it.

Rivarossi products certainly belong to the category “non-collectible”. But does everything have a material value to it? Keep it as a memorabilia on your FIL!

Thanks for the input…it wasn’t a very big bubble anyway. lol

Great link…thanks so much!

Pretty much what I figured…I plan to use it . Thanks.
